I only Want to See the Day Ahead
Posted on December 30th, 2011 No commentsAs you glance at the day ahead release the prayer “I only want to see the day ahead.” I have only the now. My attention will not go backwards into my history and my attention will not move forward into my future. I am committed to staying only in present time. To remain in grounded in my world, to feeling a bond with each person I meet. To respecting my own integrity, and my own honor. To living within the energy of love and compassion on this day, and returning to that energy when I don’t feel it. To making wise and blessed choices with my will. To release the need to know why things happen as they and to not project expectations over how I want this day to be and how I want others to be. And finally, my last prayer, to trust God and with that I bless my day, in gratefulness and with love.~Namaste -
A Moment of Contemplation
Posted on December 28th, 2011 No commentsWhen was the last time you paused for a moment, in the middle of your ordinary life, to wonder about the existence of something greater than yourself- a purpose or truth? Perhaps you suddenly thought, Does God really hear my prayers? or, What purpose does suffering on this Earth serve? or, Lord, how should I understand the essence of your nature? Have you ever wondered where in this huge cosmic planet your actions have a place?
If I may suggest the following prayer… you can substitute the word God for whaterver you wish if it helps you to hear your soul.
YOU ARE CHRIST’S HANDSGod had no body now on earth but yours,
No hands but yours,
No feet but yours,
Yours are the eyes through which he is to look out
God’s compassion to the world;
Yours are the feet with which he is to go about
Doing good:
Your are the hands with which he is to bless men now.

Iron Defficient
Posted on December 28th, 2011 No commentsIron is commonly dispensed to women who are anemic but most often the real cause is estrogen saturation and poor clearing of estrogen by the liver – this excessive estrogen results as heavy menses. Heavy menses results in anemia which can be treated for years with iron and never get better; also resulting with a negative constipation effect. A more logical approach would be to support optimal liver function including a proper source of B-vitamins to help clear estrogen. An appropriate liver protocol should be initiated to start the clearing of toxins including synthetic estrogen.

Fringe
Posted on December 28th, 2011 No commentsThe following poem, “Fringe,” by the great thirteenth-century Muslim mystic Rumi is a perfect inspiration for reflection as you pray for grace, wait and receive. You wreck my shop and my house and now my heart, but
How can I run from whatGives me life? I’m weary of personal worrying, in love
With the art of madness!Tear open my shame and show the mystery. How much longer
do I have to fret withSelf-restraint and fear? Friends, this is how it is:
We are fringe sewn insideThe lining of a robe. Soon we’ll be loosened, the binding
threads torn out. The belovedIs a lion. We’re the lame deer in his paws. Consider what
choices we have! AcquiesceWhen the Friend says, Come into me. Let me show my face.
You saw it once in preexistence,Now you want to be quickened and quickened again. We
have been secretly fedfrom beyond space and time. That’s why we look for
something more than this. -

Who You Really Are
Posted on December 20th, 2011 No commentsHumility allows you to recognize and acknowledge all the positive qualities of body, mind, and spirit in another person. Humility enables you to understand another person’s motivations and to transcend any negativity. “The quieter we become, the more we hear,” wrote Ram Dass
Give yourself this assignment for journaling: Joy, greif, hope and fear are the four passions of the soul. Of these four, on which do I dwell the most? How do I understand joy and the soul? Do I create joy in my life or do I expect joy to be created for me?
Where do I encounter God?

How does wheat make us fat, exactly?
Posted on December 20th, 2011 No commentsA: It contains amylopectin A, which is more efficiently converted to blood sugar than just about any other carbohydrate, including table sugar. In fact, two slices of whole wheat bread increase blood sugar to a higher level than a candy bar does. And then, after about two hours, your blood sugar plunges and you get shaky, your brain feels foggy, you’re hungry. So let’s say you have an English muffin for breakfast. Two hours later you’re starving, so you have a handful of crackers, and then some potato chips, and your blood sugar rises again. That cycle of highs and lows just keeps going throughout the day, so you’re constantly feeling hungry and constantly eating. Dieticians have responded to this by advising that we graze throughout the day, which is just nonsense. If you eliminate wheat from your diet, you’re no longer hungry between meals because you’ve stopped that cycle. You’ve cut out the appetite stimulant, and consequently you lose weight very quickly. I’ve seen this with thousands of patients. -

For What Reason Was I Born!
Posted on December 17th, 2011 No commentsHow many of you have ever asked God or the divine, or however you refer to these questions? “For what reason was I born? What is the greater purpose and meaning of my life? How am I meant to be of service? With these 3 questions you are calling out to God, inviting God into your life to change you at some level, to unlock your soul’s purpose. With these questions you are admitting to yourself “I am ready now to work with you and be directed to know my soul and destiny.” Sometimes we forget our highest purpose thinking its a matter of tittle, power and wealth. Our highest purpose is what our soul can accomplish in union with our ego, and not in opposition of them. ~~~ Namaste
